About The
Venue
An Historic Landmark
Founded in 1905, this Historic Landmark, classical revival building has been a favorite event location for over a century!
The SMBWC works its magic from the moment you step through its doors, which feature antique stained-glass transoms. Graceful twin staircases lead to the upper balcony and workshop room, while the original maple floors continue into the spacious main ballroom.
Upstairs, the wide balcony affords a view down to the ballroom floor and stage. The workshop room also features floor to ceiling windows, chandeliers, and hardwood floors. The building will accommodate 650 guests.
The Club is ideally located in the heart of Santa Monica, just a few blocks from Ocean Avenue and the Third Street Promenade. There is valet parking adjacent to the building and a public parking structure next door.
